lunes azules

Mondays can be awful. Today was Monday and it was awful. It was by far the most depressing day of the last month and for no other reason than the fact it was a Monday.

It was sunny today, so sunny in fact, that I went for a walk, and stopped periodically just to feel the sun on my face. Before it was sunny, there was a lot of fog. I like fog almost as much as thunderstorms. And thunderstorms are nearly as good as sunny days. And I really like sunny days. I had some Galaxy chocolate. Galaxy chocolate is some of the best chocolate there is. Cadbury lovers disagree, but they don't know anything about chocolate, even though they think they do. I listen to my new Spanish group (oreja de van gogh) on my iPod. I finished one of the four (admittedly) books I had been reading. Life should not have been blue, but it was.

I come up with no other reason other than the fact it was a Monday. Tomorrow's Tuesday, if it rains I'll ponder the question- why rainy Tuesdays are better than sunny Mondays.

We all know Hershey is by far the best chocolate there is! Just kidding! Good job on keeping the family peace...us Cadbury lovers do know what we are talking about. You and other Galaxy lovers might as well eat a candle dipped in chocolate! By the way, you have to admit Lindt is pretty good too. As to your blue monday...i think anyone would would be suffering post-holiday depression after having three weeks of vacation.

I would have to agree that mondays are generaly THE most depressing day of the week. Getting up early after two days of rest(er..staying up late)is just terrible. Also I think I would rank big thunderstorms above sunny days because there are plenty of sunny days to go around. But foggy monday mornings take the cake. two hour delays can take any depressing monday mornings and turn it into a fantastic day. Go cadbury

very astute observation ike. i agree with your comment on thunderstorms, certainly being more rare and special. however if one was planning a good outside bbq, then in that instance i would have to go for the sunshine. HOWEVER, few things compare with watching a good summer thunderstorm roll in, and then enjoying the ensuing chaos.

as for you and alli both- maybe one day you will both experience the revelation that galaxy IS better than cadbury in the wonderful world of chocolate!

Well, you might be more convincing if you sent us some chocolate! And, we would probably enjoy your galaxy still admitting in the back of our minds that cadbery is better. Lindt, in a class of its own (until i taste the famous belgian chocolate), rises above the dispute by far. And maybe we should take a chocolate tour around the whole of Europe before we make such strong claims!
